- cool-season transition type annual ryegrass ideally suitable for over-seeding sports fields, home lawns, and fairways or rough areas of golf courses
- not suitable for over-seeding greens.
- can also be over-seeded on St. Austin grass or on bare soil
- has dwarf characteristics, darker green color, and high turf quality compared to other turf-type annual ryegrass
- does not require herbicides for transition purposes and does not normally damage a warm-season bermudagrass sod
- has rapid germination and transitioned out as an annual (in mid-May in Texas)
