- an extra long staple upland cotton germplasm line that expresses UHML equal to or exceeding the minimum UHML for pima cotton when grown with supplemental irrigation in central and south Texas
- grown under severe drought, TAM 11K-13 ELSU will produce UHML exceeding the minimum of 27.8 mm required for non-discount in international markets
- has lower lint percent than commercial cultivars but is competitive in seedcotton yield potential in central and south Texas
- all other HVI fiber properties meet or exceed standards
