- upland cotton germplasm line that expresses the Long Staple Upland trait, i.e., UHML equal to or exceeding 32 mm but less than the Extra Long Staple Upland UHML of 34.9 mm when grown with supplemental irrigation
- grown under severe drought, TAM 11 L-24 LSU produced UHML exceeding the minimum of 27 .8 mm required for non-discount in international markets
- has lower lint percent than commercial cultivars but is competitive in seedcotton yield potential in central and south Texas
- all other HVI fiber properties meet or exceed standards
